Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Some are needed for a site to work at all; most are used to count visitors or to follow people between sites.
What this website uses
One thing, and only if you agree to it: Google Analytics, so we can see which pages people find useful and which they never reach. Nothing is loaded and no cookie is set unless you accept.
| Cookie | Set by | Kept for | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | 2 years | Tells repeat visits apart from new ones |
| _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | 2 years | Keeps track of a single visit |
We have turned off Google's advertising features, so this data is not used to target advertising at you, and your IP address is anonymised.
Changing your mind
You can change this whenever you like. It takes effect immediately, and turning it off stops anything further being collected.
Your current choice: checking…
Saved. Turning statistics off stops any further data being collected; anything already sent to Google stays with them until it expires.
What we store regardless
If you answer the cookie question, we remember your answer in your browser's local storage — not a cookie, and never sent to us or anyone else. It exists only so you are not asked the same question every time. Clearing your browser data removes it, and you will be asked again.
The enquiry form
If you send us a message, what you type goes to Community Sparx CIC so we can reply. That is covered by our privacy policy. The form itself sets no cookies.
Turning cookies off in your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings then Privacy. Blocking them will not stop this website working.
